My Therapy Approach

A closer look at How my sessions go

Collaborative Sessions

I work alongside you, not above you. Therapy is a shared process where we focus on what matters most to your wellbeing and growth.

Evidence-based interventions

I focus on practical, daily adjustments, giving emotional regulation, communication, and coping tools that build your wellness over time.

Age - tailored care

I meet children/ adolescents where they are developmentally, so that they feel understood, safe, and supported.

Systemic, Holistic Therapy

I look at the family as a whole, exploring patterns, communication, and relationships to build healthier connection and understanding.

Answering Your most common questions

Many people begin therapy unsure of what to say or expect. The first sessions are simply a space to talk, understand your concerns, and begin exploring support at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Most sessions typically last between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on the type of support needed and the nature of the session. Some sessions are for listening, some for collaborative planning towards meaningful changes. We adjust as needed. They can be online, or in-person too.

Children and adolescents are still growing, developing, and changing, which is why thoughtful, developmentally informed care matters. Rather than rushing to labels or assumptions, my approach focuses on careful understanding, appropriate support, and guiding parents toward the care that best supports their child’s emotional and developmental wellbeing.

Especially for children and adolescents, therapy can be most helpful before challenges become overwhelming. Early, preventative support can help strengthen emotional regulation, communication, resilience, and healthy coping skills long before a situation reaches crisis point.
